This takes about 30 seconds. Your passwords are encrypted from the moment they enter Lockbox.
You need a Mac to export. iPhone cannot export passwords directly.
On your Mac: System Settings > Passwords > three dots menu > Export All Passwords.
Select "CSV" as the export format. Enter your Apple Keychain master password to confirm.
Save it somewhere you can find it. Desktop is fine. You'll delete this file after import.
Important: The exported CSV contains your passwords in plain text. Import it into Lockbox immediately and delete the file afterwards.
If you don't have it yet, download Lockbox for iOS, Android, or Chrome.
Tap the Settings tab, then tap "Import from another app."
Select the CSV you exported from Apple Keychain. Lockbox automatically detects the format and maps the columns.
Lockbox shows you a preview: how many passwords found, any duplicates detected. Tap "Import" to confirm.
After import, Lockbox shows: "X passwords imported. 0 duplicates skipped."
Open your vault and scroll through. Verify your important accounts are there: email, bank, social media.
If everything looks right, delete the CSV file from your computer.
Only do this after you have verified all your passwords are in Lockbox.
Your existing Keychain entries will remain on your Apple devices but will no longer autofill. You can delete individual entries from Settings > Passwords if desired.
$7.99 one-time. Import in 30 seconds. No subscription ever.
