This takes about 30 seconds. Your passwords are encrypted from the moment they enter Lockbox.
Use the web vault at vault.bitwarden.com or the desktop app.
Log in to vault.bitwarden.com. Go to Tools > Export vault.
Select "CSV" as the export format. Enter your Bitwarden master password to confirm.
Save it somewhere you can find it. Desktop is fine. You'll delete this file after import.
Important: The exported CSV contains your passwords in plain text. Import it into Lockbox immediately and delete the file afterwards.
If you don't have it yet, download from the App Store or Google Play.
Tap the Settings tab, then tap "Import from another app."
Select the CSV you exported from Bitwarden. Lockbox automatically detects the format and maps the columns.
Lockbox shows you a preview: how many passwords found, any duplicates detected. Tap "Import" to confirm.
After import, Lockbox shows: "X passwords imported. 0 duplicates skipped."
Open your vault and scroll through. Verify your important accounts are there: email, bank, social media.
If everything looks right, delete the CSV file from your computer.
Only do this after you have verified all your passwords are in Lockbox.
Keep Bitwarden installed for a week after switching, just in case. Once you are confident everything is in Lockbox, uninstall Bitwarden.
$4.99 one-time. Import in 30 seconds. No subscription ever.
